This is a book of reflexions arising out ot the World Council of Churches' Ecclesiology and Ethics study project, in which I was involved. The study was established for various reasons. For many years there has been an uncertain relationship and sometimes tesnsion between the ecumenical movement's concerns with doctrine and unity on the one hand and with social witness and action for peace and justice on the other. Sometimes the social activists speak of doctrinal dialogues as irrelevant to the real need of the world, while the theologians regard the activists as side-stepping the most difficult and enduring issues in order to respond to the needs of the moment.
Resumen: Church and ethics yesterday and today.Resumen: Cheap or costly unity?.Resumen: Ethics and ecumenism: a journey together.Resumen: Worship, ethics and unity.Resumen: Baptism, eucharist and ethics: and indian case.Resumen: Formation, reformation and discernment,
